My name is Benjamin Gott. (You can call me Ben if you want. Everyone does.) Since 2001, I’ve been a middle school English teacher and occasional administrator at three great schools in Connecticut. I write YA fiction (primarily thrillers), and my non-fiction articles have appeared in both regional and national publications. (My biggest claim to fame? One of my anonymous internet comments was featured on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart—but that’s a story for another time!) In my spare time, I make music and take pictures, watch horror movies, listen to Britpop and ’90s R&B, and annoy my neighbors by refusing on principle to pick up the twigs in my backyard. I don’t have a dog (even though dogs are great!), I love ice cream (favorite flavor: Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Butter Cup), and my ears pop every time I get on an airplane.
If you want to find out more about who I am and what I do, it’s all here. You can also send me a message (I promise I’ll write back!) or look me up on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, or Instagram.
